Position Summary:
The Community Engagement Program Specialist responsibilities include executing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and vision of Catholic Charities of West Tennessee (CCWTN), assisting the Program Manager in successful execution of programs in Madison and surrounding counties, direct client assistance, data entry, and program assessment.
A successful Program Specialist will be very organized, deadline, detail, and goal-oriented, meticulous about keeping records and data, excellent interpersonal skills, a heart of service and passionate about nonprofit work while upholding the values of CCWTN.
Key Functions:
- Assist clients in need with appropriate and available CCWTN services/products and assist with referrals to other programs, if needed.
- Manage Mobile Blessings program.
- Maintain Program Reporting Standards
- Input client data into CoactionNet
- Produce needed data reports
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of data
- Conduct Needs Assessment within rural West Tennessee
- Produce monthly program reports
- Create and manage short and long-term program goals and outcomes
- Coordinate within the larger CCWTN suite of services and programs to understand strategic service provision
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional community partners
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with community partners to best serve clients
- Maintain assigned CCWTN service vehicle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience in non-profit work preferable
- Working knowledge of database entry
- Excellent computer, verbal, and written skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage projects and assignments in a timely manner
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Requires valid unrestricted driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to drive service van and travel in and around Madison and surrounding counties
- Pre-requisite (to be coordinated upon hire): one week of training at the 1325 Jefferson Ave. Memphis, TN (and other Shelby County, TN) CCWTN locations
